a rooftop heartbeat
coursing from a cosmic vein
pitter pats and petrichor
proving we're alive
heavens blood on your lashes
vital puckers to your flesh
syncopated arrangements on leaves
a deluge of murmurs
tickle the dirt
|It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. I was so preposterously serious in those days, such a humorless little prig. Lightly, lightly – it’s the best advice ever given me. When it comes to dying even. Nothing ponderous, or portentous, or emphatic. No rhetoric, no tremolos, no self conscious persona putting on its celebrated imitation of Christ or Little Nell. And of course, no theology, no metaphysics. Just the fact of dying and the fact of the clear light. So throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet, trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That’s why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling, on tiptoes and no luggage, not even a sponge bag, completely unencumbered.|
The atmosphere is not a perfume, it has no taste of the
distillation, it is odorless,
It is for my mouth forever, I am in love with it,
I will go to the bank by the wood and become undisguised and naked,
I am mad for it to be in contact with me.
Hi there Thanks for stopping by my page! I'm a newcomer to traditional art, an amateur photographer, nude model, budding harpist, and lifelong poet. I'm self taught on all fronts Last year, I found myself needing a new creative outlet, so I bought some paint and brushes, and then through friends I discovered deviant art, and here I am. Photography is my focus, but painting is something that's sticking with me in a very real way...it's brought me a sort of joy I wish I had found much earlier in life. I hope to learn as much as possible from all of you, and to hone my art as I go. So far my affinity lies most with creating abstract art. Less boundary & offers so much perspective.
Photography is something I've always had quite an interest in, but thus far have only tinkered with it on lower quality cameras. (right now all I have is a Nikon Coolpix). I take pictures nearly all the time anyway. Investing money in a really amazing camera is pretty high on the priorities list so I can hone and expand my work/style I've just started experimenting with digital art as well.
My other creative outlets include dance, jewelry making (specifically wire-wrapping), and most recently I have picked up lap harp. (very much hoping to get a decent standing mini in the near future as well!) I have also formally studied violin though I admit I haven't picked one up in a several years. I've also explored the world of nude modelling and have worked with Suicide Girls. I have been writing poetry and prose since I can remember.
I love art in all of its forms...the moon...words...the way the trees look haunted against the skyline just after dusk. I love ridiculousness and nonsense and have a very strange sense of humour. I have an intense passion for the aesthetics in all things. Sometimes I will just look at a beautiful word for fifteen or so minutes and ponder it I have a dark soul but I do not indulge it too much...however, I do love a good tempest every now and again. I love mystery and suspense. I'm very partial to forests and the sea. I'm a bit of a space cadet, sorta always in my head, but also exceptionally observant and appreciative of nuance.
**in ref to my stalker: please read**
I do *NOT* Skype/videochat, and if you ask you will be ignored. I'm not here for all that. Subsequently I will most definitely *NOT* send you private nude pictures, and if you ask you will likely be blocked. respect me & all other models here & you will be shown great kindness.
if you are interested in drawing or painting me, that's a whole new story, feel free to message me about that
